Hi there, let me let you in on a well-kept secret…

I’m a little obsessed with magic. No, not the sleight of hand, tricks and mirrors, spells or dark arts kind . . . but the manner of magic that sneaks up on you in a clever novel, or a loved one’s laughter or in the dew on an open flower. It’s everyday magic that dwells in all your favourite spaces, but waits to be discovered in unfamiliar places. This is wonder and longing; intrigue and imagination; margin and miracles and beauty and adventure. It’s what we all were made for, but are afraid to dare for—all around us, and even in the mundane if we have eyes to see it. Dear friend, I so want you to see it!

With Tao Out Loud I’m sharing a few of my favourite things, a dash and a sprinkle just once a month. I hope these fan the flames of your own dreams again, encourage you to look for the magic in your own life, and teach you to recognise it, with no apology for wanting it, to believe you can have it—every day.
